Requirements:
- Windows 98 or later
- 10Mb free disk space
- Writable CD drive (if you want to burn CDs)
- A browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer
5.0+ or Netscape Navigator 6.0+.
- Microsoft .NET Framework (free)
- Digital pictures that you want to share!
Installation:
- Download the Digital PicShare
installation program.
- When asked whether you want to open the
program or save it, choose Save. Make note of where you save the
installation program.
- If you saved the installation program to your
desktop, you can start the install by double-clicking the desktop
icon.
- If you saved the installation program
elsewhere:
- You can start the installation by clicking
the Start menu, then clicking
the Run... menu option.
- Click the Browse... button and browse to where
you saved the installation file.
- When you find the installation file,
double-click on it.
- Click the OK button in the run window.
- Digital PicShare requires the Microsoft .NET
Runtime in order to run. If your computer does not already have this
component installed, the Digital PicShare installation will inform
you, and tell you how to get it. The Microsoft .NET Runtime is FREE
from Microsoft Corporation. You can get it from the Microsoft Windows
Update web site. The download is more than 20Mb, so if
you use a modem to connect to the Internet, you may wish to download
it overnight. After installing the Microsoft .NET Runtime, return to
Step 3 above.
- Follow the instructions in the Installation
program. The installation normally takes less than a minute.
